Entry Requirements

Explain the various legal formations and status of private, public, and not-for-profit organisations.Identify traditional and contemporary organisational structures. The course explains methods by which organisations are managed strategically and operationally
Explain the concept of employability, and assess your own skill set in terms of employability and use it to write a unique curriculum vitae (CV) and complete relevant job applications, maximizing your potential value to an employer. It also suggests how to outline your skillset which can demonstrate your employability during the recruitment and selection process promoting it, selling it, servicing it and building brand recognition.
Explain the purpose of financial and management accounting, interpret financial statements to review the performance of business organisations and report to stakeholders. Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial budgets to aid management decision making. This course demonstrates the use of costing and pricing methods to contribute to business decision making
Basic concepts and practices of entrepreneurship. The course covers various topics, including the nature of entrepreneurship, characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, business planning, marketing, financing, and risk management. . The course also emphasizes the importance of innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills in the entrepreneurial process.
Apply numeracy and quantitative techniques for use in day-to-day business activities. Also algebraic methods to formulate and solve business problems.
Discuss the concept of the project life cycle in a variety of business organisations and contexts
