This Level 6 direct entry course provides a robust foundation in the field of business and its fundamental disciplines. Delivered through an online platform by Hertfordshire Business School and UH Online (the University’s center for online distance learning), this programme offers you the flexibility to align your studies with your work and other personal commitments.
We recognise that many learners have different qualification journeys and may have different kinds of achievement which can contribute to a successful application alongside the 120 RQF credits at Level 5 or 6 through ABE.
Learners who do not have the standard entry requirements can also apply for the BA (Hons) Business Management (Top-Up Year) if they have: 120 credits at Level 4 (from either ABE or another valid awarding organisation) And a further 120 RQF credits at either Level 5 or 6 from ABE.
Entry Requirements
To be eligible to enrol on the Top-up, you typically need to have successfully achieved an ABE L5 or L6 120 credit diplomas from the current (RQF) syllabus. You will also need evidence of the necessary English language capability.

To enrol in this program, your initial requirement is the successful completion of both your ABE Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas, which will accumulate a total of 240 credits.
Intakes are September, January and May deadlines as follows;
January 2024 intake: application deadline 15 November 2023
May 2024 intake: application deadline 15 April 2024
Part-time, three consecutive semesters (12 months).
This course will be delivered online. Online distance learning gives you the flexibility of when and where to study. However, interacting with other students and tutors is still important, so this flexibility is combined with online discussions, podcasts and synchronised sessions, where possible.
