The HND is a Level 5 qualification, equivalent to the second year of a UK Bachelor’s Degree, and includes an embedded Level 4 qualification, the HNC. This pathway leads to the final year of a Bachelor’s Programme. HND in Marketing prepares you for marketing and communications related job roles or progression to further education by helping to develop the foundational knowledge of marketing, market research and advertising concepts.
HND in Marketing provides an overview of the marketing function. It considers the purchase decision-making process and the variables and situations influencing buyer behaviour. Topics covered include marketing research; promotional activities for attracting target audience; applying and evaluating analytical tools to create a marketing plan; marketing in the digital age and product /service innovation.
Credits earned through an HND are equivalent to the first two years of an undergraduate programme. Consequently, many universities in the UK and internationally may offer you a place in the third or final year of a degree course, thereby saving you from having to start your undergraduate studies from the beginning.
The classes will be conducted 4 days a week with 3 hour long sessions for each unit
